Waterford Green Appointed to Flood & Erosion Control Board

We are very pleased to announce that yesterday morning one of our party's co-chairs, Baird Welch-Collins, was sworn-in as a full member of Waterford, Connecticut's Flood and Erosion Control Board. Congratulations Baird, and we look forward to having another Green voice in local government!

The Waterford, CT Green Party will hold its July 2015 monthly meeting and nominating convention at 2pm on Sunday, July 5th, at 9 Farmstead Ln. in Waterford.

Thanks to some exceptionally charitable donations, we are very proud to say that we were able to give out our first Scholarship for Civic Engagement and Environmentalism tonight at Waterford High School's senior class award night! The Waterford Green Party will hold its June 2015 meeting at 2pm on Saturday, June 20th, at 9 Farmstead Ln., Waterford, CT 06385. All Greens are invited to attend, and it is extremely important that anyone who is interested in running for a town office in the 2015 elections attends this meeting. We will be accepting nominations and voting to endorse candidates at the meeting, as well as discussing how to expand membership, and more.
